Greetings, Earthlings and others. I am N.R. Willick<\/strong>, a fresh face in the authorial cosmos, dabbling in the art of crafting tales of sci-fi, fantasy, magical realism, and thrillers. Hailing from the mystical lands of Northern California, my writing voyage began not in a galaxy far, far away, but through an insatiable appetite for reading. The epic saga of my literary career commenced when my mother, in a moment of maternal wisdom, queried why my pen had fallen silent. In truth, the pen was mightier than ever; it was just in stealth mode. Prompted by her inquisition (and a subtle hint of maternal blackmail), I birthed\u00a0Bass Rift<\/em>\u2013 my debut novel, a byproduct of familial nagging.
